COMPASSION
Iceland is a refuge for a large population of asylum-seekers and immigrants. Many of them are in Iceland temporarily. Some are seeking to resettle permanently.
JUSTICE
Compass partners with the Salvation Army at their Reykjavik and Reykjanesbær location. The Salvation Army’s priority is to meet all the physical needs of everyone who enters their ministry — both Icelanders and those from outside their borders. Through our partnership, we work to bring about justice in the lives of those seeking refuge and a new start.
HOPE
Against the beautiful backdrop of Icelandic culture and landscape, we embody hope, not self-seeking but self-giving. While our mission in Iceland is to pour out, our work in Iceland renews us and empowers us as well.
