Bryn Clark

Executive Director

Hailing from the Midwest of the United States, Bryn completed his undergraduate studies in Indiana and Chicago before moving to New England. He worked as a sea kayak guide along the coast of Maine before settling in Massachusetts. Bryn’s a lifelong believer in the power of curiosity and storytelling. He’s passionate about good questions and helping other people understand their own journeys. He’s a fan of conversations on ski lifts, sending postcards, and dark, cozy evenings. He’s a ultrarunner and avid hiker, always up for the next trail.

Kendall Billings

Assistant Director of Programming

Kendall grew up in Central California, where she received a BA in Political Science and International Studies from California Baptist University. While serving as an AmeriCorps member with City Year, she worked directly with students in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and eventually moved to New England, where she fostered civic engagement in community spaces through physical service. As a committed follower of Christ, she loves Jesus and growing in her own faith while equipping others to do the same. She also loves reading, hiking, sweets of all kinds, her family, and connecting with others.

In the Field

Compass instructors lead our service-learning trips from start to finish. They include seasoned wilderness guides, educators, entrepreneurs, researchers, mentors, and facilitators. All bring the cultural awareness, energy, and flexibility needed to help participants reflect, grow, and navigate their journey with purpose.
