Overview

Trevecca students are called to lives of service—and this journey offers an opportunity to live that out in a remarkable corner of the world.

Working alongside the Salvation Army in Akureyri, you'll support local programs serving refugees, families, and individuals experiencing hardship. Whether helping with food distribution, community outreach, or everyday hospitality, you'll discover that faith often takes shape in ordinary acts of compassion.

Throughout the week, you'll also experience Iceland's remarkable landscapes, build lasting friendships with your team, and participate in Compass Time and Table Talk—daily rhythms designed to help you connect your experiences abroad with the life you're building at home.

You'll return with more than unforgettable memories. You'll come home with a broader perspective, deeper relationships, and a renewed understanding of how service can shape both the communities we serve and the people we become.
