Overview

Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do is slow down.

This May, you'll partner with Compass Path and journey to Iceland to care for one of the world's most remarkable landscapes through environmental stewardship and sustainable living. Alongside international volunteers, you'll help restore native ecosystems while experiencing a culture that has learned to live in close relationship with the natural world.

But this week isn't only about the work you'll do. It's also about creating space to step away from the pace of everyday life. Through shared meals, meaningful conversations, and daily reflection, you'll consider how stewardship, community, and vocation connect to the life you're building back home.

You'll return with more than unforgettable memories of Iceland—you'll come home with fresh perspective, renewed purpose, and a deeper appreciation for caring well for both people and places.

What You’ll Do

  • Restore Iceland's landscapes through environmental stewardship projects with Worldwide Friends and SEEDS Iceland.

  • Work alongside international volunteers committed to sustainable living and environmental care.

  • Experience Iceland's waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, glaciers, black sand beaches, and geothermal wonders.

  • Learn how caring for the natural world can shape the way we think about community, responsibility, and vocation.

  • Practice daily rhythms of Compass Time and Table Talk, creating space for reflection, conversation, and renewed perspective.

  • Return home with a broader global perspective and practical ideas for living with greater intention.
