Overview
The journey doesn't end when the program does.
As alumni of Crossways and Youth Becoming Leaders programs, you've already experienced how faith, leadership, and community can shape your life. This August, we're inviting you to take that experience somewhere new.
In Akureyri, Iceland, you'll partner with the local Salvation Army church to host a free summer camp for children in the community. Through games, activities, shared meals, and meaningful relationships, you'll help create a welcoming space where young people can experience belonging, encouragement, and joy.
But this journey is also about reconnecting. You'll serve alongside fellow alumni, explore the breathtaking landscapes of northern Iceland, and participate in Compass Time and Table Talk—daily rhythms of reflection that invite you to consider how your faith, leadership, and sense of purpose continue to grow.
You'll return home with more than memories of Iceland. You'll carry new friendships, a renewed sense of community, and a deeper understanding of how the gifts you've developed can make a difference in the lives of others.
